- Answer This happened to me, as well. The unit still functioned and reported data as designed, but the display had multiple lines across it. Rebooting the device did not help. I replaced mine.

- Answer Most likely not due to the water resistant features keeping it sealed up pretty tight. There is no battery compartment on my Charge 3.

- Answer I wouldn't even try. There is nothing in the user manual indicating you can do that. The screen is very limited in what it shows, but only about fitbit functions.
