7th day review
|Posted .I did not own any other tracker prior to getting this Charge 3 on release day. Out of the box got a firmware update that took about 30 min to complete. Claims to have a battery life of 7 days and it does, charged today with 7% battery remaining. I don't now how it calculates the steps but they are NOT even estimate to accurate, it calculate them even on my commute of 1 hour to work adding up to 2,000 steps when i am only driving. However i have found very useful the way you can track what you eat and compared with burned calories. Sleep tracking have help me to realize the quality and time i have been sleeping allowing me to make adjustments as needed, sleep tracking time seems to be very accurate so far. The apps creates a great integration with your smart phone by getting notifications and even reading a quick email. On day number 4 it became unresponsive and giving erratic readings for everything, a device reset fixed the issue. On day 5 a new update was available and took about 30 min to complete. Overall i am happy with all you can learn of yourself with this tracker. Recommended if you have a busy life and try to keep track of your health as well. The product still new and hope new updates will come to fix the small issues with the steps.

Pretty good for basic monitoring

Quality2 out of 5Value3 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I have had this for about 5 months and it does everything i need it to do. Keeps track of my steps, heart rate, and calories burned. The fitbit app is the real winner in getting these products tho. It is so organized and works well. I do have a gripe with the watch tho. After only 5 months the screen has started to glitch. Like it is losing its screen. I will be doing a warranty claim with fitbit here soon. But i would be weary of this fact when choosing this one. Idk if it was jus a bad product or something that happens often.

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I really love this Fitbit. It took me a while to get use to the bigger size band but now that I am I enjoy it. I love Fitbit cause I’m not looking for a smart watch but something to help me mind my health in. I read a lot of reviews about saying it was hard to read but I can read if perfectly. Only con is when swiping or flipping my wrist it has an animation to active the screen could be smoother

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I paid a little more to get the Special Edition but I am glad I did. I can go for a run and leave my phone and wallet home while still being able to track my run, get current pace time, and more while even being able to stop at the store to pick up anything I need using fitbit pay. Charge 3 is a major upgrade from Charge 2! Looks great with the added white band which covers the price difference of the regular alone. The display looks crisp and beautiful and its even fully water proof assuming you are not a deep sea diver or something. Simple, elegant, and does everything you need in a fitness tracker...

Loving the upgrade
|Posted .My Charge 2 broke so I replaced it with the Charge 3 since I cannot afford the Ionic or Blaze. I have to admit, I am loving the Charge 3. The band feels fantastic since it is breathable. I definately like the fact that this new band does not have the attachment grooves to get filled with gunk, such as sweat etc. I like the double prong as well. It makes the closure feel more secure. I have not taken this Fitbit swimming yet but, it has been submerged in water when I was doing dishes yesterday and it had no issues as far as I can tell. We shall see how it holds up. The new set up for how you can view your notifications is great! It is so much easier to read. Being able to view to items at once is pretty cool too! The old downside to my last Fitbit breaking down even though I had only got it in June is that you can no longer do the accidental damage protection plan on the Fitbit. I think it is kind of stupid since this is the type of item you actually need something like that on but it is not as if the Best Buy Geek Squad management team is going to listen to me.

So far so good
|Posted .I bought the Charge 3 the day it came out. I really like the size. Before I had the Alta Hr and I really liked it but the size was just a little to small. I bought the charge 3 with the normal silicone band. The band is nice but it made my wrist sweat a lot so I purchased the berry sports band and it seems to be keeping my wrist a lot cooler. This Fitbit is exactly what it says it is, a really nice fitness tracker. I really like it so far!

Great Fitness tracker you get your moneys worth

Quality4 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5Pretty good fitness tracker. Was surprised how accurate the swim and sleep tracker were. It let me know my hours of deep sleep and restlessness a definite plus. The heartbeat sensor was pretty much on point especially helpful during my weightlifting and cardio times. This is a fitness tracker which actually does its job. The only drawbacks I have is I wish it tracked more exercises and I wish I could text back on it lol. Maybe different color bands would help. The battery life is awesome and it is very comfortable to wear. I would definitely recommend to a swimmer, weightlifter and for running. Great Buy.

Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5This Charge 3 is the perfect size for wife. The watch tracks all of the activities she wants and looks good on her wrist also!! The watch is durable yet comfortable. The Fitbit is a tad bit expensive, but she feels it is worth it.

Q: QuestionWhat are the advantages if any of buying the Fitbit charge 3 vs the fitbit alta?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer I bought the Fitbit Charge 3 on Monday and going to return it today (Thursday). It is not properly recording my steps but also gives the "steps" when I'm driving or moving my arm. I wanted my steps counted is the main reason I purchased a Fitbit to begin with. Now not sure which one go purchase next.

Q: QuestionDoes this Fitbit contain nickel?
Asked by Mary.
- A:Answer We don't know about the Charge 3 but it's likely to be similar to the Charge 2 which Fitbit says: "The buckle and frame on Charge 2 are made of surgical-grade stainless steel. While all stainless steel contains traces of nickel and can cause an allergic reaction in someone with nickel sensitivity, the amount of nickel in all Fitbit products meets the European Union's stringent Nickel Directive." I have a nickel sensitivity and have to be careful what touches my skin including belt buckles, necklaces and anything with pewter. I wear the Charge 2 nearly 24 hours per day and have no problem. But others have reported sensitivity. Probably worth trying and returning if it doesn't work out. Other customers have mitigated the situation by using sport tape or moleskin. I think the vast majority of people are OK with it.

Q: QuestionHow is this any different in features from charge 2? What makes it worth buying? I have had my charge 2 for over 2 years.
Asked by ClassyE.
- A:Answer I did the upgrade and I don’t think it’s worth it. The face selection are not a useful to my older eyes, but the big kicker is, the bands and chargers are not compatible. I had 26 bands and 3 chargers. The 2 is a great device, the 3 brings waterproofing, a better battery (I can’t tell) and easier band connection.

Q: QuestionI've owned 4 Fitbits. None lasted longer than 18 months. How long has your Charge 3 lasted?
Asked by BravoCharlie.
- A:Answer After 3 months the pixels on one have screwed up. 2 lines across the screen. The other one we have does not sync anymore regardless of how many times I have tried, all different methods, resetting etc. So now the time is wrong on one device so there's no point using it, and you cant change the time on the watch itself. The other one just looks crap with all the pixel issues. I regret my purchase and have lost $280.

Q: QuestionHello. Do you offer a 2 year warranty for the Charge 3?
Asked by DKB.
- A:Answer I don’t think they have one. I asked the sale associate the same thing when I purchased the Charge 3 and he told me no. It didn’t appear as on option on his screen when I was cashing out. Hope this helped!
