Does the Fitbit work if you have wrist tattoos ? I had an Apple Watch and the lights couldn’t detect my skin through my tattoos null

I have tattoos on my left wrist and it does not work. If I find a space between heavier spots then it sort of works, but it is not where it sits on my wrist when wearing so it's pointless.

It does not work through tattoos.

The green light that is used to get your heart rate and oxygen levels will not penetrate the ink you will have to find a spot on your wrist that allows it to pass. If people tell you that it works with a tattoo that's because it's hitting a light spot on their ink. As a general rule it will not pass through ink

You need to put an epoxy sticker on the back of your device. I got mine at Amazon. They come in a 50 pack, which I thought was a waste, but it cannot be on while charging, so I just switch the sticker out every week

Ues it works even with the tattoos. I have wrist tattoos on both sides and it works on both.
