No, a FitBit activity device can only be used by one person (same as any other activity device).

We tried to do exactly that. I suppose it's possible if you go in on your computer and label the workout times that you know where for each person but it does not allow you to simple switch users from user A to user B or anything like that. I think it's because the purpose is to track your entire day and night. To be able to show you your average resting heart rate and all your activity throughout the day. It cannot accomplish that if it loses track of you when someone else is wearing it.

No because each person must set up an account with your gender, height, weight, etc. to get the output correct.

Multiple people can wear it, but you wouldn't be able to separate the data unless you setup the device every time you switch users. That would seem to be quite a lot of overhead and probably isn't an option for the long term.

I would say you need one device per person to make it usable.
