JJ, Have you fully explored your app? You should be able to select the heart rate and see your chart, then get a weekly, monthly, 3 month etc view. This can be expanded so you see a chart with your highs, lows and all of the middle. If you are looking for just a heart rate monitor, or one to catch almost every beat, read the literature from the company - they tell you to go get a chest strap type. I have had one of those, and all though they are accurate, they can be uncomfortable. The Fitbit is a motivational tracker, not a Heart Rate monitor per se. Good luck with your fitness goals.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You register the device with FItbit online, and then you are set up with their online dashboard to track all your statistics (including heart rate) over time. It also has both Andriod and iOS apps to accomplish this same task on mobile devices - tablets and phones. We have iOS devices, and the Fitbit app is GREAT for tracking ALL of our statistics over time. For heart rate in particular, you would scroll down through your data on the main dashboard page, and when you get to it, click on it. It will show you your heart rate throughout the day in a line chart. You can click on any part of the line chart to see the specific number, including when it's at its peak. You can also scroll through previous days and weeks to see what any statistics has been over time: steps, heart rate, etc. The only drawback is that it doesn't seem to track heart rate very accurately when working out. All the movement seems to throw off the heart rate tracking. However, for normal daily activity, it seems to track heart rate just fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Press button until it displays a number with the heart beside it.
