Yes, email fitbit to let them know. They will send you a completely new fitbit. I did this. They were very pleasant to deal with, and my replacement came quickly. I have a charge, i'm assuming you do too. I will tell you that it is starting to happen to this one too, after about a year. Seems like a design flaw.
