• No. My wife wears a lot of jewelry and has no issues. In addition, there are a lot of bracelets you can find for the FitBit that are more "blingy".

• The Fitbit works like a bluetooth, there should be no effect if you place a cover on it. Always avoid getting it wet, (as in washing your hands.)

• No, I don't believe it would. You can find many different bands and bracelets and clips for the Fitbit Flex. You just put the tracker in them. I have 2 replacement bands and a clip for mine.
