No long term it will stop working properly. It is water resistant not waterproof.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As long as the tracker stays out of direct or prolonged contact with water, you are okay.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.YES! This is a particularly strength of the Flex. It is 100% waterproof. Your only concern might be the effects of pool chemicals on the contacts or the fragile glued joint at the wrist band's display window. Any corrosion that builds up over time on the contacts can be easily cleaned off with a pencil eraser, some ultra-fine sandpaper or steel wool, or a commercial chemical contact cleaner. I don't know how resistent the glued wrist band's window joint is to pool chemicals, but they may accelerate its inevitable breakdown. Even with the best of caution, this weak joint will eventually fail (average, I'm guessing from personal experience, about every six months or so).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Although the fitbit is water resistant, it isn't necessarily waterproof. I've worn mine in the shower numerous times, but i would not wear it swimming. It all depends on how wet you think it would get.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No there is a computer chip in the band that prevents it from being used in the shower, pool or lake. Cannot be submerged.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Flex is listed under "waterproof", so I do believe that, if you take your classes, and right after getting out of water, you dry the tracker and the band, especially where the tracker goes, you should not have any problems with it! It is all about caring. The piece is well made, so if you take some additional care, it should last you a while!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No it is not water resistant
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's only water resistant so I'm going to say no.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I wear mine when I shower, but from what I've read, I wouldn't wear it in a pool.
