I bought this for my mother-in-law. It is an activity tracker with a heart rate monitor. You can check your heart rate anytime if you are wearing it on your wrist. It, also, connects to your smartphone, so you can see your messages on the watch. Added bonus, you can get a separate clip for the watch and clip it to your clothing instead of wearing it on your wrist.
