It does not check glucose. I purchased mine because it had an ECG in it so I could check my heart. It stopped not working correctly and when I took it back to Best Buy, they offered no help or exchange and even had a really bad attitude. Beware, Best Buy only lets you return an Item I think its 10 days after purchase and I am not sure if its even that long. I have done a lot of business with them, but I have chosen other stores in which to spend my money because of this. Good luck.
