Text messages are not coming thru to my Surge and it is synced with my phone, help please. null

I just had this myself. Some how it turned itself off??? On your phone app, tap where it says surge. It takes you to the screen where it says" surge synced how ever long ago." Tap that again. It should list a choice that says...call and text notifications, it should have a red check mark in the box. If not hit it again. Mine shuts off constantly. It must be something that shuts off when you're not in sync with the phone.

Make sure Bluetooth is turned on.

Make sure your fitbit app is set to receive notifications - if that doesn't work try re-starting phone.

Is your classic bluetooth setting on the surge turned on? Also review the list of compatible phones bot all phones will work.

I fixed this issue by removing it from the Bluetooth Sync and re-adding it.

It's defective. Return it if you just purchased it. A LOT of them came out defective. That's why they haven't released them for mass purchase. Too many bugs.

Go to "settings"
scroll down to notifications.
Make sure "on" is selected.

After you go under settings make sure you notifications are set to "on". Under that, make sure Bluetooh Classic is "paired" and "on.
