1-The data stays with your account, but it will also sync to multiple trackers, if you have more than one.
2-It pairs with your app and the scale pairs with your app.
3-If your band is tight enough, it should capture your BPM. The band that comes with it is so soft and flexible that it should not be a problem wearing it tight enough.
