“The older Fitbit models had a problem with the bands tearing and then having to get another one sent to you if it was still under warranty. How are these bands holding up and if they do wear out are they replaceable?”

Haven’t had my versa long enough for the band to break but have researched new ones online and have found as many as 10 for not much more than one at Fitbit. Bought a replacement this way for my old Fitbit and it lasted till the Fitbit died. Hope this helps
