Bestbuy no longer offers protection plans for FitBits as they have the highest incidence of problems of all products sold by BestBuy. They used to offer it and I just brought my FitBit Charge 2 in because it suddenly stopped charging and wouldn’t turn on. BestBuy refunded me the full purchase price I paid for the Fitbit and it had only about 1 week left to the 2 year plan. I am not sure if I will buy a FitBit unless they reinstate protection plans. I like the specs of the Versa 2, but my history with FitBits is sketchy and the protection plans were my insurance that I didn’t waste my money.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I personally did not opt for an extended warranty. My versa lasted almost 18 months. What I mean by that is I upgraded to the Versa to but then that time.. A protection plan would not last that long I don't believe. This one is waterproof so I feel no need for it. Just my two cents.
