It is unlikely to ever be available on CDs because the program is huge. Reportedly, it will be available on DVD. According to Tom's Guide "In Europe, would-be pilots can also purchase Microsoft Flight Simulator as a 10 double-layer DVD box set via 'Aerosoft.'
