• A:Answer This is the Essentials Plus package that does not include the range finder. Foresight sells this same Essentials Plus package reconditioned with only a 6 month warranty for the same price. This appears to be new, and if you don’t need a range finder, this is a good deal.

• A:Answer The GC3 Essentials Plus package includes a lifetime subscription to all software. They also sell the GC3S for a significantly lower price at around $3,800 and you pay $500/year for the software. This is smart on Foresight’s part. It gives you a choice between paying more for the hardware, but no ongoing fees to pay later, or pay about half for the hardware and pay as you go for the software. It’s the same approach Tesla has for their supervised full self drive mode.
