Because if you want to keep enjoying something, eventually you have to pay. Everything costs mo ey

I believe it will give you more when you buy another Apple product like a phone or AirPods

They are a greedy corporation. I get offers of 1-6 months of Apple Music free all the time from other sites etc., and they only allow one per Apple ID. Corporate greed.
