• You can cancel your membership before your due date or your free trial ends so you won’t get charged. I do it all the time with no issues, so you shouldn’t either.

• You do subscribe when you sign up for the six months. You need to quit the subscription before the six months are up.

• You have to give them your credit card info in order to receive the "gift." You can discontinue service at the end of the period - if you remember to do it; otherwise they will bill your credit card.
