“Freezer seems too warm Kinda concerned about our new fridge. Daughter put frozen waffles in it and they got soggy. I notice ice cream not hard. Have a thermometer in it only about 10 to 12 degrees. Seems it should be colder. Kinda concerned being it's just 3 days old”

I did too. You can adjust both in the refrigerator, but if the freezer still isn't cold enough, you can adjust it higher in the freezer

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.For hard Ice cream, you want the temp to be -10 or more(-20) for super hard ice cream. I use to drive truck and we set our trailer temp at -20 when hauling ice cream. Kept it good and hard.

I've played with adjusting both compartments & finally got it to zero in the freezer & 40 in the frig. These seem to be the recommended temps, but it's taken quite some time to keep adjusting in order to get these temps.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.For extreme temp outside, I think the directions tell you to use the maximum setting for the freezer. We are outside St. Louis, O'Fallon, and have had 20 degree temps in the garage this winter. All ok.
