“Is there anyway to reduce the noise coming from this machine. It makes loud noises. Sometimes it seems like it's making ice cubes, but I don't have the ice cube machine installed. Also, sometimes it finishes cooling and then makes a popping noise.”

Some surfaces on floors, walls, and kitchen cabinets may make these sounds more noticeable. During defrost cycles, water dripping onto the defrost heater may cause a hissing or sizzling sound.
