• NO. I EMPTY EVERY 3-4 DUMPS INTO A CONTAINER IN THE FREEZER.

• The ice making cycle is a fixed time. If you wish to make harder ice, let the first couple of batches of ice fall into the water reservoir (by removing the ice basket) and the ice will chill the water so the resulting ice made will be firmer.
