• A:Answer You could, but when the ice tray is full, my experience is the ice begins to melt. That said, it drains back into the supply basin and once the ice tray is no longer full the unit makes fresh ice. The only countertop unit I found that keeps ice frozen is about $500. Too rich for my blood :)

• A:Answer I use the small setting and I get 8 each drop (5mins or less) which is very fast in my opinion! I drink 44oz cups of water several times (2-3) daily and it keeps up with me!!! If you fill it with water it will continue making ice until all the water is used!!!
