1. Compact, lightweight unit, easy for one person to unpack and set up. 2. No hoses to deal with compared to the older, much larger and heavier unit 3. Clear and easy to follow instructions 4. The water tank is easily accessible and can be filled with water. 8. I appreciate the WHITE inner-lined parts, for cleaning, etc., easy to see vs. the larger unit with dark inner-lined parts. 9. Produces nice ice spheres. 10. Ice spheres are not clear, but they do last much longer compared to ice nuggets in a Stanley mug. 11. I much prefer using ice spheres vs store-bought ice chunks or refrigerator-produced ice because they seem to melt at a slower rate, keeping the drink cold and not diluted with water.

This ice maker(Ecozy Chillio) has a slim design that fits perfectly in my bar space. It doesn’t produce enough ice for a large party, but it works great for a few friends enjoying cocktails. I’ve used other ice makers with pull-out drawers that tend to drip water onto the counter. This one tilts forward and does a great job of keeping water where it should be, which is a big plus. The top-fill water reservoir is another feature I really like. It makes refilling easy and much less messy. One tip: be sure to use filtered water if you want clear ice. I personally use an under-sink RO system, which works really well for this.

Bought this for my husband for his birthday. He loves it. It makes balls fast, it's relatively quiet and easy to use.

Got this for my partner as a gift, and they absolutely loooved it! Super easy to use, and comes with all the tools you need! Tongs to grab the ice, sticky hook to store the tongs, silicone ice storage, and water purity tester. (Also distilled water was the best for clarity) Only thing is that there’s a small hole/divot on top of every ball, and you have to move all ice over to a freezer as the storage area doesn’t keep ice frozen.
