Ecozy - 33 lb. Countertop Nugget Ice Maker with Self-Cleaning Ice Machine, Chewable Pellet Ice Daily - Stainless Steel

Opening the ice maker and setting up was straight forward and easy. I was concerned with how small it was but that has been its biggest plus. I don't have a large amount of counter space and this fit nicely next to the sink. The first time I turned it on it was pretty loud and I was hoping that it wasn't the normal sound. After the pump picked up water and was running it has been quiet ever since even after needing more water. It produces great nugget ice that is of course chewable. The picture I included is how much ice it produced in 30 minutes and after weighing it (excluding the white basket) it was just under 1 pound so that definitely exceeds the 33 pounds a day. I definitely wanted one with a self-clean function, any ice maker gets dirty with well water and that feature helps keep it nice and clean. I have been happy with it so far and definitely recommend for anyone who wants a nugget ice machine without paying the expensive price for a GE machine. One other thing is this is insulated pretty well which means as the ice sits it doesn't melt as fast as my old ice maker used to which was made by fridgidaire.

I’ve been using the Ecozy 33 lb. Countertop Nugget Ice Maker for a couple of weeks now, and I absolutely love it! The chewable pellet ice it produces is perfect—great taste and texture, exactly what I was looking for. It has that signature "Sonic-style" texture that my family loves. The machine is easy to use, and the self-cleaning feature is a huge plus, making maintenance a breeze. It’s also sleek and fits nicely on my countertop. Highly recommend this ice maker to anyone who loves quality ice and wants a reliable, stylish appliance!

I love this ice maker! I usually spend an afternoon every couple of weeks making ice (not like there is much for me to do!) and pour each basket into my fridge ice maker. One thing to note - there is not a way for this machine to keep ice cold, so once I put it in the freezer it "re-freezes" as a block and I have to use an ice pick to break it up before it will dispense from my fridge. It's not that big of a deal and tastes WAY better than the fridge ice. Well worth it in my opinion. It's also nice for parties etc to have fresh nugget ice. I usually empty from the bottom and wipe it out when I'm done making ice, then let the inside air dry. No issues with mildew or smell, etc. The outside does get a little fingerprinty (see photo).

A great, and very cute ice maker! Inside the box are the ice maker, a quick start guide that will get you up and running right away, actual instructions, a detachable handle for carrying the ice maker, an ice scoop, and some plastic bags to hold some ice. Not only does this ice maker look nice and attractive on the counter, it is extremely easy to use. Operation is simple: 1. Open the plastic lid and remove the ice tray. 2. Fill the machine with clean water up to the indicated MAX fill line. 3. Re-insert the ice tray and close the lid. 4. Plug the machine in, and press the button on the front. That's it! Ice should be coming out soon. The ice does stay frozen for quite a long time. I've turned the machine off with a full ice tray and came back six hours later and there was still plenty of ice in the tray that were frozen. It will eventually melt as this unit is not a freezer, but it does last quite a while. The machine also has a "self-cleaning" function which you can initiate by holding down the front button for 5-10 seconds. Cleaning then takes about 10-15 minutes. If you need to drain the water from the unit, there is a rubber gasket on the bottom that you can unplug. All in all, a fantastic ice maker that is actually quite fun to use and very simple to operate!

The whole family loves this little thing. It produces plenty of nice chewable ice to pretty much stay full with two kids making iced coffees every day and dad‘s evening drinks. I will note that we have just been keeping it turned on, and stopped transferring the ice to the freezer. As the ice melts, the machine will just turn back on and make more. it’s a pretty ingenious design. Just add a little more water, and it will continue making ice.Hopefully the electricity usage is not crazy.
