    Machine is great. Including plumbing parts aren’t.

    The machine itself works great. The tubing with the filter leaked so I bought hardware to remove the quick attachments and plumbed in a better filter.

  • Can this ice maker be used in an outdoor setting but under a roof? I am concerned about the ice not melting if outside.

    No promises but I believe if the electrical is protected it should work fine outside under protection from weather. I’d be concerned about pests such as mice building nests around the compressor and bugs getting in making it difficult to keep clean

  • Does this ice maker keep the unused ice frozen until it is used? We recently bought an ice maker that they said had a 30 lb storage capacity but failed to mention it does not keep the ice frozen and you have to move it to the freezer to keep it.
