Assuming the first one was tongue in cheek. The 2nd was just stupid. no one wants their unit to fit all the way inside the hole. Actually measuring my newly installed 27" the width of the inside cabinet hole was 24 7/8 allowing the 2 1/8 to overlap the hole duhhhhh. the measurement provided by BB people was that my existing hole was 24 7/8 wide. Fix your specifications. Google the product and see how wrong you have been.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi ted, thank you for your question. For model FCWD2730AS, the unit width is 27 inches while the required cutout width is 27 1/8 inches to allow proper installation clearance. This small difference ensures the appliance can be easily slid into place without binding against cabinetry and accommodates normal variations in cabinet construction, allowing for a proper and secure fit once installed. — Reed
