• This is not normal operation. Mine does not do this. Return it back to Best Buy for a replacement. Sounds like the compressor is overheating and shutting off. I had full size refrigerator do this and found out the windings in the compressor were damaged. Just return it and get a replacement.

• By any chance was the refrigerator laid on its side? If so it is recommended that the refrigerator not be used for 24 hours. The oil has to drain correctly.
