Hi there. While I do not have the depth without the door measurement readily available, you should accommodate at least 3" from the total depth of 20-1/2" for the top of the cabinet depth. However, we would recommend storing your microwave on a countertop instead or to use a shelf or cabinet to separate the two. ~ Anna
