Mine came with a pretty long pigtail coming out of the oven, my wiring came out of the wall about in the middle of the oven space and it was no problem getting it wired up. I THINK they are just saying that the pigtail exits the upper left corner, but I think it is about 2-3 feet long. We wired mine before it was pushed into place, so it was plenty long. Hope this helps...(we love the oven, by the way...)
