A:AnswerI am like you-many do not want it. Yes can turn it off but if you have dedicated water "valve" to the fridge...keep a line connected to the valve at least...so you can test the valve once + awhile in a bucket...Know that this is another hole in an otherwise insulated unit. Ug!
A:AnswerFound the first time after hook up it took a long time to make the first batch of ice. After that it became quicker, but it is slower than our last refrigerator. It also doesn’t make a lot of ice at a time. Eventually the bucket will fill up.
