Seems to be a common problem with econ mode on most units. The temperature delta they have to see in order to kick the full system back on is too high. Sometimes they seem to work well, but usually they end up causing the temperature in the room to fluctuate far too much, rather than keeping it consistent. It's a pain, but you are probably better off just to keep putting it on cool mode. If your AC unit literally never kicks on the condenser when you have it in econ mode though, I would say yours probably does have an issue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the same issue with mine. I actually have another unit from a different company that does the same thing on econo mode. Not sure why, but it does. The problem that I had is on econo mode it seems to take longer to get the room cooled down, but once it is cool then it helps maintain. I usually only use the econo mode once the room is cooled down at night.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We have the same problem with the economy mode. Got fed up with it so I always put it on cool and leave it. The water doesn't drain well either and it gets super loud after a few hours.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you call support this is the way it is suppose to work. When in Econ Mode and set to Auto Fan will reach temperature and then shut off. It will then after a few minutes turn back on and evaluate the temperature and then decide if it need to raise/lower the temperature and if it doesn't need to adjust, it will turn off and the try again after a few minutes. I really don't like that part of it but it works.
