“I just purchased a frigidaire 70 pint dehunidifier. I have it connected to a hose which goes directly into a sump pump. Instead of it draining into the sump pump, it drained into the internal bucket and had to be dumped manually. What do I need to do”

I expect the hose connection to the unit is leaking into the bucket. It is a very simple design: water drips into the bucket or into the hose, if attached.
