• It can vent outside according to a contractor but it is more difficult to install that way. The contractor wanted an extra 420 dollars to vent outside.

• Hi Poplawsj, Thank you for reaching out to us! Please know that All of our over-the-range (OTR) microwaves are factory preset to vent internally – it will recirculate the air back into the room. However, it can also be converted to vent externally, or outside, if you prefer. We hope this information helps! - Owen
