Hey riskyray! When ice begins to form on the back wall of the freezer this could be due to condensation. Condensation is caused from warm air meeting cold air, the seal around the freezer may be loose. You can also use a dollar bill to test the door gasket. Place a dollar bill in between the door and the body of the freezer. If the dollar bill pulls out with no to little resistance, the gasket is loose. Hopefully this information is helpful. Do not hesitate to contact us directly or via the Q&A forum on this website for any additional assistance. –Thanks!-
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same issue. The technician did service it. My gaskets were loose on te freezer so the warms air would come through and cause water to leak from the freezer to the refrigerator. It would also cause heavy ice to accumulate as well. Check to see if the floor is leveled where your refrigerator is located. This unbalance can cause issues.
