“Can I place this built-in Frigidaire Gallery microwave with the trim kit right on the top of Frigidaire Gallery single oven to make it as one unit? or do I have to put plywood between them? I don't want to buy the combo version.”

According to my contractor who installed it. The unit must have a separate dividing plywood able to support up to 100 lbs. Therefore, cannot be placed on top of the wall oven.

I will be more than happy to assist. If the microwave is being installed over a wall oven, be sure the clearance between the wall oven and the microwave oven is a minimum of 3 inches. Note* This microwave can only be built in over an electric self-clean or non-self-clean single cavity wall oven.
