I bought this to replace a Dacor DMO2420S in-wall microwave whose touchpad had failed. I had the Dacor AMTK30S trim kit too. Naturally, my Dacor failed with bad timing - I had a dinner party planned in a few days. It was going to be 2 weeks lead time to get a replacement Dacor, but I noticed this Frigidaire had the same size specifications and was in stock at a local Best Buy store. It fits perfectly, including where it's little legs fit onto the Dacor trim kit. Works very well, and was about half the price of a new Dacor. (I suspect, but don't know for sure, that they are essentially the same unit, but with different touchpad controls.)

I bought this microwave to replace an existing old GE microwave in the house we recently purchased. I wanted to use the existing stainless steel frame ( which in some cases it can be as expensive as the microwave), because it was in excellent condition. This microwave fit perfectly, it had the same dimensions as the old one (had to do some research ), and matched with the existing stainless steel frame. Even though this is not considered a very high end microwave due to price, I must say that I'm very satisfy with its performance and the multiple options I can choose from.

Our kitchen cabinets had the proper opening provided for a standard built-in microwave and this one fit nicely with the installation kit sold separately. I recommend downloading the installation manual to ensure cabinet opening meets required dimensions before ordering. It's very spacious and powerful and working well so far. Only complaint Mrs. B has is with the beeper when it's done.. it continues relentlessly until you respond to the machine or mute it all together in the program function. We haven't noticed any unusually loud operating noise as other reviews have mentioned.. it is powerful so we expected it to be somewhat louder than the small unit that it replaced. As I mentioned, the installation kit is sold separately and not available directly from bestbuy.com. After researching the installation information and proper kit p/n on the Frigidaire site, I went through several layers of best buy customer service over the phone until someone knew they were offered from their subsidiary partstore.com. The kit does seal to the microwave cabinet well and directs all of the cooling fan air flow properly through the grill openings. Total installation was fast and easy and finished well in appearance. Overall, we're pleased with its performance and capacity although it's well above the regular price point for this size of machine.. but it sure looks great for the 99.99% of the time we're not using it and it frees up a lot of counter space.

Sorry, I tried to like it, but half the cavity is dark due to the placement and dimness of the light. Much darker than my previous model - same manufacturer and similar model. When I called the manufacturer to see if I could move it or put a brighter bulb in, they said it was an energy saving feature. They couldn't have possibly ran this by a test panel. It's impossible to tell if anything is boiling or cooking inside. Settings for different types of cooking are up under the top of door frame, shaded from the kitchen light. They can't be read without a flashlight. As other reviewers have said, the audible tones are either off or on. I didn't like them going off continually after something is finished cooking, so I followed the instructions to shut them off. Now there are no tones for anything - when something's finished cooking, or when you press buttons for programming. No middle ground. The only thing good about the microwave is the price and the reason I kept it is that it's a replacement, and this one fits the old trim kit without me having to buy a new one. As far as I'm concerned, that's the only thing Frigidaire did right with this model.

This microwave was simple to install and looks great with the matching trim kit. Quality appliance at a reasonable price.

Needed this Microwave to replace my old in-cabinet microwave of the same size. Need venting kit if using it inside the cabinet. It has feet and looks like you can use it on the counter as well. It is fairly large and heavy.

We have been happy with this microwave so far. It isn't quiet but it isn't loud, either. I like the one touch feature for minutes 5 and under where you just tap 1 or 2 or 3, etc. and in 3 seconds it just starts cooking for that amount of time. It has a lot of features that we don't use but it looks nice and does the job. I'd recommend.

The microwave works really well. Reheats food evenly and is easy to use! We got this because there is the option to make it a built-in later if we decide to do so.

We just bought it to replace our old one and it's work fine.

Love this oven. many great features. No problems at all. This will be my 3rd one since 1997 so they do last. It is mounted above my oven.

Works nicely but the beep is so loud. There is a way to turn it off completely which we did but no way to turn it down partway. Other than that works well for the 8 months we have used it. No other troubles.

Happy with the look and performance. Unhappy with door. Does not open with door release button without manually lifting door a fraction.

Overall a great microwave oven for the price paid (open box item). To be used for replacement of a built in microwave oven.

This under the counter microwave has some neat features such as the soften or melt button and the sensor reheat. We are happy with it so far.

I love the controls on the front. My favorite feature is the one-button start: that is, press a number (1 thru 6), wait for about "one Mississippi", and the microwave turns on and runs for that many minutes.

Good microwave with very good appearance. If building into a cabinet, ensure the trim kit is ordered as well.
