We use the liquid Cascade Complete and love it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I tried finish (recommended by the manufacturer), but it left the dishes with a dirty looking film. I now use cascade complete platinum. The dishes literally sparkle!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have never used anything but Cascade which you usually find in sample size in most dishwashers. This unit comes with Finish Powerball which I have been using and certainly it seems fine and I am told it cost less than Cascade.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello KD02188! We recommend using fresh detergent whether it is powder or liquid is up to your preference within the dishwasher (FGID2466QF). We hope this information is helpful to you. –Thanks!-
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've been using the cheapest detergents on the shelf for 25+ years and never had issues. I've had 4 different models in that time and they work fine with the cheap stuff. The dishwasher does 99% of the job, soap is less important than a quality machine. Soap companies pay machine manufacturers for the privilege of putting samples with sales of new machines in the hopes it will get you to purchase it. The ploy works wonderfully.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use Cascade Platinum pods.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Well it comes with finish Powerball so that is what is recommended. In the past I have only used Cascade. So far the finish is working fine and I am told it is cheaper than Cascade products.
