The microwave and lower ovens are completely separate units. The microwave plugs into the lower oven, and then the lower oven is hardwired. Please note that I am not an electrician, but I suspect that you could get by with a 30amp/240v circuit, but that could cause problems if you use the microwave for a long period of time while the lower oven is also on. To be safe and for future expansion/replacement options, you may just want put in a 50amp/240v circuit, which is standard/code for a double oven. Again, I'm not an electrician and honestly your electrician should know the answer to this (or you may want to find another electrician).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hey Ben! The model that you selected does not require any plugs since it's hardwired onto your electrical system with a 30A minimum circuit requirement. I hope this helps! -Thanks-
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Note that I am not an electrician!!! When i installed my oven it only used 1 220 plug of unknown amps. The microwave plugged into the top of the oven. It replaced a similar oven/microwave. Most of the specs can be gotten from Best Buy or online. Good luck. Mine looks good and works great..
