I found it easy to install. I didnt put the braccket outside that you can buy at most any hardware store. Im a 70 years old, female and I did it all by myself. I brought it in from the car unboxed it and slid it into the window. So far so good it hasnt fallen out yet. There is a bracket you can purchase for outside but I didnt get one.

I have brick walls and would need a bracket slightly deeper than most of the low cost 11 inch wall depth brackets.
