Hi Frydaddy! After some research, I was able to see that this model contains a heat strip. The supplement heating feature of your air conditioner is not meant as a primary source of heat. During the heat mode, your fan will run continuously while heat is needed. The temperature will automatically be maintained anywhere between 55 degrees Fahrenheit and 80 degrees Fahrenheit.
