A:AnswerThe watch does not hold any music on its own. If you want to listen to music while running, you will need to bring your phone. However it does offer very detailed alerts. For example, I set up a workout with 1.5mi warmup, 800m at a specific pace followed by 2 minutes of recovery (repeat 5 times), then 1.5 mile cooldown. The watch accurately tracked my run and alerted me with vibration and sound at the end of each portion of the workout. For more detailed workouts (for example mixing miles and meters), you have to set them up on the Garmin website, then send them to your watch.
A:AnswerYes, it does both indoors and outdoors. I have had several devices to track my runs including 2 other garmin watches and this had great accuracy.
A:AnswerSome devices have a Barometric altimeter for elevation, this one would use GPS data for elevation information in an activity. When paired with a smartphone you would get weather data from the phone.

A:AnswerThe device can be worn while hitting the heavy bag as long as their isn't any impact to the device itself you should be fine. However, you may have some incorrect readings while using it in this manner.

A:AnswerIt should be. Purchased one for my sister and she hasn't had any problems with it. I'm a guy with a 6.5 in wrist and I wear a Fenix 3. It's a little bulky, but it's never been uncomfortable when running. I didn't used to wear watches at all when running before this.
A:AnswerYes, Run Keeper is just one of the many partners we have. The Forerunner 235 can report to Run Keeper while still using our Garmin Connect program.

A:AnswerGood luck with getting an answer on that question! I've gone to two Best Buy stores and spoke with 5 associates and no one seems to know what's going on! The best answer I got was they weren't carrying Forerunners any longer. Not sure if that was accurate or if that gentleman was a new employee.
