• The vívofit 3 has a water rating of 5ATM which means it can withstand pressures equivalent to a depth of 50 meters. ~JH

• It is true that it is rated to 5 ATM, but 1 ATM is at sea level, so approximately 33 ft/ ATM x 4 = 132 feet .... or about 40 meters underwater. Which is well within sport diving limits. I'm a SCUBA diver... and a scientist. :)

• Yes - it claims to be rated for 5ATM / 50m. I haven't been anywhere near that deep, but haven't had any problems with it swimming or showering.
