Probably not too well. It is basically a step tracker so a lot is based on movement. When I do strength training exercise you can track the time performed and then edit it on the Garmin Connect app. Kayaking may be better since there is arm movement involved.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The water resistant nature of the Vivofit works for me when I swim and with my circuit training. You will have to clean the wristband from time to time, to remove dried sweat residue, otherwise you might find an unpleasant aroma coming from it.
