“Can I use this when i'm swimming?”

• Yes, I wore this swimming in the lake this summer. Plus it has a swimming setting to track your exercise while swimming. I haven't used that before so I can't say how well it works.

• Yes. I purchased mine for that main reason. You can swim up to 50m depth with this one. You can check full specs at garmin.com. As a side note: when looking for waterproof fitness frackers look for a high ATM rating or IP68. The higher the ATM the deeper you can swim. Hope this helped.

• No, it cannot record activities when swimming but it can be worn while swimming. The device has a water rating 5 ATM which means it can withstand pressures equivalent to a depth of 50 meters ~JH
