Yes there are different face format options. With the Garmin Connect App the easily pairs to an iPhone.

In fact, the Garmin app allows you to download multiple watch faces, from a plain bold digital face to multifunctional digital faces to multifunctional analog faces. Whatever you desire, chances are there's a watch face out there for you. Pairing is super easy with Android and iPhone. You'll need the app to pair the phone, but the app actually is pretty useful. It visually organizes the data better than the watch face itself. You can also organize the widgets so that the functions that are most important to you, so notifications or your default music player or your calendar show up sooner rather than later. You can also download additional widgets or remove widgets, so things that aren't useful to you don't clog up your watch memory. All in all, a very customizable and flexible Smartwatch that works and plays well with all platforms so far. In fact, the Garmin platform is so user-friendly that I opted for this watch instead of a Samsung Gear or Apple watch. I like that I'm able to switch if I need to, and the accessories are pretty easy to get and reasonable. Check Amazon for a variety of watch bands, protective cases, Etc.
