Yes, the Garmin - vívofit 2 Activity Tracker tracks exercises done on elliptical and treadmills.

Yes and no. The vívofit 2 tracks steps via the natural movement of your body as part of a walking or running motion.  If you are swinging your arms, then yes it will track steps if worn on your wrist.

If not, then you would need another way to provide motion. Many customers place the watch in a pocket or waistband to pick up the motion. 	w/
