• Yes. I bought it with HR strap, but Polar says it will also work with a previously purchased Polar chest strap

• No I had to buy a garmin strap. My polar strap would not work.

• I'm not sure about your Polar Heart monitor. I use a Scosche Heart Monitor and it works fine. You could give it a try and see if it will sync.
