sdhc card used? Does this have to have telephone connection or can you use only the computer with a sdhc card? I would seriously consider purchasing one of these or one like it if it only used the sdhc card. Any model suggestions??

I believe if you don't have a phone or tablet, you will need a Bluetooth dongle for your computer. Unless Bluetooth is built in.

You can connect with your telephone by installing the Garmin app. This does not take picture, so there is no need for a sdhc card.

No, a phone nor a SDHC card is not required the unit is sealed (battery is still replaceable - after roughly a year). A computer is perfectly acceptable, in fact it comes with a wireless USB dongle (tiny plug in USB device) with ANT wireless technology. This allows the Garmin to sync its data allowing you to get a beautiful picture of all your statistics.
