• Yes it is compatible I own a nexus 6 with the latest lollipop software and there is no issue with my garmin band.

• Yes, it is. I just bought the galaxy S6, which runs on Android 5.02, and I haven't had any issues with it, so far.

• I don't know about it's compatibility to the Android. I would think that information would be on the packaging of the product. I like the Vivofit & it's easy to use once you set it up. I would recommend setting it up with your moblie device rather than your laptop. It's easier to sync with your phone & more logical as you will probably have your phone with you more often than your laptop.
