Not very well at all, no. When I wear it for my rides, it catches maybe a third of the actual movement. It is designed specifically as a pedometer, and works very well in that capacity. If you cycle more than anything else, you'll want a fitness tracker with GPS, so it can accurately track the distance you ride.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.no
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I put it on my leg for spin class and it does track
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It doesn't track exercise on an elliptical so I'm going to say it probably doesn't track cycling even worse than it doesn't track elliptical. At least on the elliptical it adds steps to your step counter. It really doesn't "track" much else and what it does "track" is not very accurate.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not tried however, there's an app called Map My Walk that allows you to track your route and times you. Very nice app. I am pretty sure it would work for cycling. It's a Garmin so it gives pin point accuracy on your location too. Love that when using a new route. Best part is that it syncs with the device's Connect app.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does not track steps taken if arms are not moving (arm with the tracker on it has to move)...I've found that to be the only problem. I do a lot of grass cutting - since my hands are on the handle of the lawnmower, it does not track all the steps I take while mowing. Find this with shopping, too - pushing the cart so doesn't track steps. SO - I have started putting it in my pocket...that seems to help. May not be as accurate but at least it tracks.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It also doesn't track very well when you mow the grass because you aren't moving your arm
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does not count cycling as steps, but IF you also wear a HR monitor strap, it will adjust calorie burn during the time you are cycling. I have a HR strap and use it this way frequently.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Nope, but it picks up vibrations from the handlebars. I rode 39 miles and it showed about 8000 steps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No - mainly steps and sleep pattern
